Order Graphics4VOGraphics4VO is developed for use with CA-Visual Objects (Version 2.0 and higher). It is based on 32-Bit-WINDOWS-API. The library allows development of graphics oriented CA-Visual Objects applications for 32-Bit Windows operating systems.
The Graphics Library Graphics4VO includes classes, methods and functions for integration of graphic elements into Windows applications. It could be used to add graphics to existing applications with minimum labor, or for new development. Knowledge of Windows graphics handling or of Windows API-programming is not required.
The Library is based upon a very fast graphics display mechanism that allows an exceptionally quick screen drawing. Repainting of an uncovered window is performed from an internal image-bitmap at a speed that makes it not noticeable to the eye. There is no need for the subsequent reconstruction of graphics.
With the graphics library Graphics4VO various graphics output on the screen, to the printer, to the plotter, into the file and to the memory bitmap are possible. Beside elementary pixel graphics and graphic primitives a lot of business and presentation graphics is provided such as bar charts, pie charts or line charts, mathematical coordinate systems, function graphs and fractals in a simple way. Beyond that graphics from other programs or scanned pictures in files with different graphics formats or ArcView shapes can be imported into the own application. Efficient coordinate transformations into world coordinate systems save the conversion work and guarantee the uniform representation on different devices. The GUI classes made available by CA-Visual Objects receive ability to graphic representation by Graphics4VO. The implementation of graphics into existing programs is very simple therefore to accomplish.
Graphics4VO is offered in two different implementations:
A Dynamic Link Library including the graphics must put down in the call directory of the graphic application that is using it, or in the directory CAVO\BIN.
The access to the classes, methods and functions contained in the DLL is made by an interface library, which must be imported into the CA-Visual Objects repository as an AEF-file.
In order to merge Graphics4VO directly as library into the development system, an AEF-file including the graphics library must be imported into the CA-Visual Objects repository.
In this case all classes, methods and functions of the library are available as source code.
The linkable DLL of the graphics library Graphics4VO with the detailed documentation can be
downloaded form the internet as a ZIP packed file.
For unpacking the download file you need an unzip program, which you can download
from this side.
The download of the linkable DLL contains Graphics4VO DLLs for VO 2.0, 2.5, 2.6, 2.7 and 2.8, a in VO importable AEF with the interface to the Graphics4VO DLL, the documentation and an AEF with the compilable demo program including many programming examples. Using the Graphics4VO DLL and interface you can merge graphics into your own applications!
The runable demo program with the AEF source code and a detailed documentation can be
downloaded form the internet as a ZIP packed file.
For unpacking the download file you need an unzip program, which you can download
from this side.
The download of the runable demo program contains an executable program independent of an VO installation for the demonstration of the function range of the graphics library Graphics4VO.

GeoDLL supports 3D coordinate- transformations
After our Dynamic Link Library has become super fast by recoding to C++, GeoDLL now is able to calculate 3D coordinate transformations considering the ellipsoidical heights.
As well calculations with cartesian coordinates are possible now.
