The latest important changes

  1. Great Britain and Netherlands in two different Post Code levels.
  2. 26 countries have been updated on January till July 2008.
  3. Tabelle GERMANY has been updated on January 2008.
  4. Test data in dBase and CSV format.
  5. Added Ground Level Elevations.

Brief description

International Geo Data with geo referenced localities and postal zip codes of the countries all over the world for navigation and geo coding.

Often is it necessarily for an address characteristic, e.g. the place name or the postal zip code, to establish a local relationship - a geo reference. The geo reference can be used e.g. to show a customer the nearest branches of a business chain by doing a proximity search. Distances between places or postal areas can be determined with the coordinates contained in the database tables. With the elevation data from a Digital Elevation Model the ground level height of each place can be determined. The solution for this and other tasks are these database tables of all European and many overseas contries. Here are some examples:

 The contract between a data distributor and GeoKontor was terminated in June 2008. With immediate effect, KilletSoft has been commissioned to organize an update service for the spatial data ("geodata") acquired by them in the years 2006 to 2008 at the level of Zip code (post code), streets and individual buildings. Please contact us if you require an update of such data.
