Killet Software Ing.-GbR, geo software developer based in North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany, adapted the extensive changes of the spatial area structure in the new Federal States of Germany to its administrative data bases.
The enterprise reacts fast on the administrative reform in the Federal State Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, which was set into force on 4th September of the year.
The reform led to the reduction of the regional districts and district free towns there from 18 to 8.
By the District Reform all districts with exception of the old county district Demmin are completely collected to new large districts.
Two of the six districts free cities kept their status.
The other four lost their status to county cities.
All cities and towns and the districts got new district community keys.
With the formation to the new large districts new license plates are issued.
In the data bases of Geodata Germany were taken changes caused by the administrative reform, like the new municipality and district names, the new municipality keys, new car license plates and other local referred data.
Also the allocations of the Postal Code Areas and the Telephone Code Areas has been renewed.
The Snow and Wind Load Zones and the nature areas and landscape informations belonging to the cities and towns has been assigned to the new administrative units and were updated in the data base tables.
The data bases contain coordinates and ground level heights of the towns and town quarters, postal codes and telephone area codes for navigation and geo coding, for periphery searches and distance computations, as well as statistical data and the representation of the hierarchical administrative structure.
The tables are principally used in the Internet administration, logistics and statistics.
More data bases make possible to assign a variety of natural and scenic information to each town or municipality.
The snow and wind load zones in conjunction with the ground level heights can be used to calculate static loads for the planning of building constructions.
The actualized databases are available as from October 14th.

The latest versions of the programs TRANSDAT and SEVENPAR support language files for the programs interface.
Since the language dependent texts are managed in external files, new languages can be added at any time by creating new language files.
Every user of the program now can compile language files by himself.
